Green Crest, located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, with a site area of 16,830 m2, a GFA of 51,000 m2 and a plot ratio of 3.1, is a high class residential development with clubhouse. It was completed and ready for occupation in mid-2000.        Green Crest is located at the city center; hence, land usage had to be maximized. Based on this criterion, the five residential towers are designed in clusters with a central garden. The landscape design, which composed of water fountain, green terrace, recreational facilities and luxury clubhouse, is merged with the original landscape. To maximize the car park provision within limited site area, semi-basement and basement carpark approach is adopted in accordance with the natural terrain; hence, better lighting and ventilation are achieved.        Each of the five residential blocks has a standard 6-unit per floor layout and is eighteen-storey high. Moreover, the usefulness of the dining and living room is maximized by their rectangular shape. In order to satisfy the need of residents, single and duplex designs were provided. In addition, a three-storey luxury duplex with a private greenhouse style balcony is also provided to enhance the grand and romantic atmosphere.
