Jin Lin Peninsula covers a land area of 93,380m?and is a low density housing development.
As for the overall layout, the residential quarter creates a central lake by taking full advantage of the annular water system - Huanhua Stream, and links together two clam-shaped land lots in the north and south through the clubhouse. Various design techniques are adopted to combine the water system, the green landscape for walking and residences to create different characteristics and functions.
As for the design of units, Type A is a Detached villa and Type B is a Row villa, both owning front and rear gardens. Type C is Duplex-type villa. Type D is a villa-type apartment, with the ground-floor duplex having a front garden, the upper-floor duplex having a rear garden and mid-air garden combining with stairway. Type E owns a large green platform, while the top floor has a mid-air garden.
As for architectural appearance, the design divides the architectural form into three parts, head, body and base, according to Chinese architectural theory. The lower part adopts traditional form and surface treatment with grey granite. The middle and upper part are meticulously detailed with a cornice and an entrance to create unique Chinese architectural style and which becomes the feature of Jin Lin Peninsula. |
